I build websites end to end: design, front end, and the backend behind them, from a small town in Alabama.

Most of what I make, I make alone. That means the person who designs the thing is the person who builds it, which is why the sites in my portfolio hold together: there is no handoff to lose the idea in.

The work runs wider than one kind of site. A trivia game with accounts, a live leaderboard and its own Supabase backend. A church site that has to be easy for anyone to read on a phone. A publication where I wrote the essays as well as the code. A fantasy football archive built to a design system I wrote for it. Different problems, same approach: understand it properly, then build the simplest thing that actually works.

I am still learning, and I would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What I can promise is that I will not hand you something I do not understand.
